Richard Angelo, born on August 29, 1962, in Long Island, New York, is a convicted serial killer who worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Despite his seemingly ordinary background, Angelo used his position to poison at least 35 patients with paralytic agents between March and October 1987, leading to the deaths of several individuals. His motive? A twisted desire to play the hero by reviving his victims from the brink of death. His heinous acts came to light after one of his patients, Gerolamo Kuchich, survived an injection and identified Angelo as the assailant. Angelo’s arrest led to the exhumation of 32 bodies, with Pavulon, a paralytic drug, found in seven of them. Convicted in 1989, he was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison, marking the end of a dark and terrifying chapter for Long Island.
