Zodiac killer’s cipher Z-32 decoded

ZODIAC – CODI – CODY – BUFFALO BILL

SFPD-O -12

SPFD -O

The hint in the cipher indicates that the letter ‘-O’ should be replaced by ‘-12’, corresponding to the 12th letter of the alphabet, ‘L’.

SPFD-L

SPEC-K

To derive a word by replacing each of the letters F, D, and L with their previous alphabet letters:

  • F -> E
  • D -> C
  • L -> K

Given these replacements, let’s apply them to the original letters F D L:

  • F becomes E
  • D becomes C
  • L becomes K

Therefore, F D L is transformed to E C K.

The Zodiac Killer’s Z-408 cipher, sent on July 31, 1969, hinted at the invasion of Richard Speck on the night of July 13, 1966, when he murdered nursing students in Chicago. Clive & Lally Investigations decoded Z-408, revealing “FERN’S PIG” as a significant clue. Another cipher, Z-32, hints at Speck’s name by including the clue SFPD-O (-12). Z-32 also references the “Vatican Chapel,” which, when combined with “FERN’S PIG” from Z-408, points to “Della Pigna” in the Vatican.

“The Zodiac Killer’s Panic: Rochester Murders and Their Startling Link”

After rattling the USA with his killings and Zodiac ciphers, Webb Jr. might have been distracted by the Rochester murders. Out of curiosity, if he had gathered details, he would have noticed that the abduction date of the second victim, Wanda Walkowicz, on April 2, 1973, in Rochester, coincided with his April 20, 1970, cipher. Additionally, the fact that Wanda’s body was found in Webster and the third abducted victim was seen on Ackerman Street heading to Webster Avenue could have panicked Webb Jr. It seems that the Zodiac ciphers were not created by Zodiac Killer James Webb Jr. The force that panicked him by carrying out the Rochester murders could have been behind the Zodiac ciphers.
